MV Flexi has come up with an innovative approach to address this challenge. Our goal is not only to operate flexible energy devices, but also to contribute to the development of the entire market through design and research. We ensure grid stability with thermal storages, battery storage and cogeneration units that efficiently smooth out fluctuations in energy supply and consumption.
A pilot project for the installation of a container-type thermal storage developed by our company with a capacity of 50 m3 of water heated by 1 MW of installed heating rods. The electrical power is partly traded through the day-ahead market and the remaining part through balancing services (aFRR-).
The heat from the storage is used for domestic hot water, hotel heating and wellness. The solution reduces the hotel’s energy costs while being environmentally friendly at the same time.
